    A full-time Primary Care Physician opportunity is available for the right candidate to provide quality primary care including exams, treatment, education and counseling for patients in accordance with agency protocols and current guidelines.

    This full time position is located in the heart of beautiful Orange County, California.  Orange County has 42 miles of beautiful coastline, three harbors and 25 urban and wilderness parks - including 230 miles of riding and hiking trails. The beaches and harbors host world-class yachts, dinner cruises, electric boats and Olympic-caliber kayakers and rowers.  It's known for Anaheim’s Disneyland Resort, a huge complex of rides, restaurants and shops. Nearby, in Buena Park, is Knott's Berry Farm, a large theme park. Cities with surf beaches include Huntington Beach, with its surfing museum. Newport Beach's boat-filled harbor sits opposite Balboa Peninsula. Laguna Beach has tide pools and oceanfront Crystal Cove State Park.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide high quality primary care services, in accordance with agency protocols and current standards of care.
    • Manage emergency situations as they arise in the health center, and consult with Medical Director and Associate Medical Director as necessary.
    • Provide direct supervision to midlevel providers within the scope of medical expertise and California state law.
    • Provide medical consultation and precepting to clinicians regarding the clinical management of specific patients.
    • Orient new clinicians as requested.
    • Participate in a team approach to patient care and deliver care in a professional, confidential and expeditious manner.

     

    Qualifications

     

    • Current California Medical License and DEA Registration.
    • Current Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Practice or Internal Medicine preferred.
    • Post Residency Training and/or Experience in Reproductive Health.
    • Current BLS or ACLS certification
