    Responsibilities

    The Systems Administrator’s role is to monitor, troubleshoot, implement, and support technical systems and operations. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve systems issues as part of the overall effort to provide the highest quality service in support of the organization’s administrative and health care functions. This role will provide 2nd tier technical support for core systems and applications, though may be called on to cover 1st level support as needed. The Systems Administrator will participate in design and implementation for core technical projects and may lead the development and implementation of specific projects or platforms.

     

    Primary duty is to maintain and implement security layers to protect the usability and integrity of company’s network and data. It includes both hardware and software technologies. Other duties include maintaining but not limited to Active Directory, Exchange, file sharing, virtual servers and desktops, storage.

     

    This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve systems issues as part of the overall effort to provide the highest quality service in support of the organization’s administrative and health care functions.

    Qualifications

    • BS in computer science or related field preferred or a proven combination education and/or experience.
    • IT Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, S+, MCSA, MTA, and CCNA is a major plus. 
    • Minimum of 4+ years in network/systems administration/security.
    • Advanced knowledge of system/network vulnerabilities and security issues.
    • Extensive experience with VMware servers and desktops, zero and thin clients.
    • Working knowledge and experience with SAN (preferred NETAPP/KAMINARIO)
    • Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft server platforms and Active Directory.
    • Working knowledge and experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, routers, switches and firewalls.
    • Advanced knowledge of network and PC operating systems.
    • Strong grasp of current network hardware, protocols, and standards. 
    • Extensive experience with core software applications such as AD, GPO, DHCP, DNS, IP, MS servers. 
    • Skills and/or experience with application and services delivered via web technologies.
    • Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, implementation, and support of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
