Administers various aspects of Human Resources functions and administrative services. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Participate in performance improvement activities.
Provide Human Resources administration including policy and procedures information and clarification to all employees as needed.
Plan, conduct, and evaluate the new hire employee orientation program to fully comply with Agency goals and policies. Create identification badges for new hires and current employees to promote culture of safety.
Plan and coordinate the schedule and logistics for the department’s internal professional development workshops. Maintain attendance records and program evaluations. Assist HR leadership in staff trainings and development programs.
Enroll all new and current employees for online training as required (i.e. LawRoom, CAL, etc.) Ensure agency-wide training requirements are met as measured by a review of training completion records.
As needed, assist HR Business Analyst with the leaves of absence (including but not limited to maintaining logs, tracking, generating employee letters, etc.) and in the administration of employee benefits program i.e. insurance, enrollment for medical, dental, vision, life, 125 Plan, COBRA, claims, Retirement 401K enrollments etc.
As needed, assist Recruitment with recruiting processes that may include but not limited to tracking, generating letters, sourcing, screening, interviewing, etc.
Assist with voluntary and involuntary terminations of employment. Process Change of Status (COS) form, prepare employee notices and related documentation for separation, and coordinate final check with Payroll. Coordinate, conduct, and track exit interviews for voluntary separations.
Oversee and provide the information for employment verifications in response to inquiries.
Oversee preparation and maintenance of records such as hires, promotions, transfers, employment eligibility verifications (I-9), terminations, insurance coverage, retirement plan, and license and education certifications.
Maintain the Human Resources department page of the organization’s intranet (The Point). Maintain HRIS data entry with emphasis for separations and benefits. Prepare reports as required.
Remain current on all applicable employment laws, regulatory compliance and standards of practice in each functional area of responsibility.
Ensure the Human Resources Department has reputation within the organization of competency, fairness, confidentiality, and the highest level of customer service.

Requires 2-3 years of experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position.
Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year College with 1+ years experience in a human resources department or related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices.
Relevant human resources certifications preferred.
Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems (i.e. Ultipro, iCIMS)
Healthcare experience preferred.
Outstanding interpersonal communication and interpersonal skills.
